What was kind of neat about these luvs was that the ride height of the 4x4 version wasn’t all that different from the 2wd one.  I guess that’s sort of the same, but the opposite today as many 2wd compacts have been lifted up to match the ride height of the 4x4 version.

Another thing.  I put this thing up on blocks to check the underside.  Oil changes would be a snap.  Everything pretty easy to get to.  Not Subaru easy but almost.  Nissans appear to still be sorta easy to work on, engine bay was pretty big.  FYI

I don’t think this is a problem anymore.  Nissan CVT is a pretty mature technology.   Edmunds driver ratings for these things is quite good.

I test drove from Avis car sales. Was pretty easy, had it for 2 hrs. What I said about SUVs just being cars above is true, but only mechanically. I don’t have a lot to compare it to so maybe my standards are low, but I thought it was a fine rig. A bit of a shock how big it felt though. It definitely feels like a

Not used really.  I’m looking at getting a pathfinder soon which is basically it’s twin.  There are tons of them in the used market from rentals, and they are a great deal.  The infotainment system is an antique, but I don’t care much about that, as long as the bluetooth works ok.  We’ll see I’m test driving one

All these SUVs are really just cars.  They are modern wagons.  The modern family truckster.

The parts shops and manufacturers have pushed us away from the refills for one reason: to make more money. It’s so wasteful. You can’t even buy refills at many places (Oreilly’s certainly doesn’t have them). Every brand is different, but a little sleuthing and you can get some online. I have found (not sure this is

They are not even trying.  They could make the grille way, way bigger.  Maybe the whole truck is just a grille.  Like you could have little slats in the grille that you peek out of to drive it.  Good idea I think.

I’ve been in one in Chile and they kind of look like a japanese truck knock off. So much so that I was wondering if they weren’t built by somebody else. This is not a bad thing, obviously.

We had 3 of these on our farm growing up.  It fit down grape rows just fine.  My dad drove a diesel one for like 20 yrs.

Bummer it’s a bimmer.

I used to autocross in the early 2000's and these things did quite well.

what evidence do you have that this is true?

I wonder what stretching it to make a 2+2 would be like? I think it should be 2+2 only, I know a lot of folks disagree. The best thing I liked about my Z (it’s a 2+2 280zx) was it was a real damn practical hatchback, not just a sports car. I could load it up with tons of shit with the rear seats folded flat. The

No way. I’ve never seen anybody under 70 driving a ‘vette. Looks like a transformer or something also. Gaudy, big, yuck. But that’s just my opinion.

What’s your problem with nissans?  Have you ever owned one?

This thing looks great.  Naysayers are nuts.

6 speed manual plus cummins 2.8.  That would be the ideal setup.  It’d be slightly slow but powerful enough.

What’s more of a concern is that like a smart-tv it will all be abandonware in short order.  For your car, maybe this is no big deal, unless it presents security risks.  For your TV?  Never get a smart tv if you don’t have to, but that is basically impossible today.

For the model T it is more like levers and pedals!
