Yeah but that’s just for 2020, I don’t think anybody knows what the 2021 truck will have.

Another question.  Will there be a Mitsubishi version?

I have a d22 and it’s frame is fully boxed. I think Nissans may have always been this way as my patrol is also. But I agree, I don’t think the D40 shares much of anything with the D22.

Manual transmissions aren’t just for making a vehicle sporty.  They also are practical for towing and for traction purposes, which makes them ideal for trucks.

Oh I noticed they finally changed that hideous automatic shifter.  That’s good.

Am I missing something? I don’t see in the press release where it says this will be the only engine/transmission option for the next gen frontier. Here’s to hoping we may get a manual and/or diesel.

Do we know for a fact that there will be no manual in the next gen frontier or is that just the assumption?

No, never had any issues.  I think maybe the cat was replaced early on via warranty, but I can’t remember.

There is no logical reason to dislike minivans. Especially if you think a Chevy Traverse or the like is cooler.  Now if they just got better mileage.

I just asked him and it’s 285.  Original clutch also.

My dad has a 2003 Spec-V sentra with over 200k on it.  Basically nothing has gone wrong with the thing.  I think he had some crank angle sensor issues, but that’s about it.  The QR is a pretty legit motor.

My wife had a 1st gen FWD.  I loved working on that thing, it was so easy.  Well changing the oil was kind of a pain though.  Hated to sell it, but wanted something safer.  I don’t regret it either.  Not long after one was in the news for being in a wreck around here that squished almost flat and killed three people.

I want an electric car that is simpler than a gas car.  Something you get in, flip a switch to turn it on, check the charge gauge and be on your way.  Something with maybe 100 mile range, does 0-60 in maybe like 8 seconds.  A 90's toyota camry, but electric.  Only gauges I would want are charge, speedo, maybe outside

I believe some in the press referred to them chauvinistically as a “secretaries car.” I don’t think the S14 ever sold that well, that’s why they are hard to find these days. The late 90's were a bad time for Nissan and sports cars in general though.  Thank you secretaries for buying the ones that you did.  :D

I remember in the 90's the 240sx wasn’t thought of that well by the automotive press. It was pretty much dismissed as a pedestrian sports car with not much power. Something your aunt or uncle might buy to have a little ‘sporty’ commuter car.  I feel like it was nowhere near as racer-boy as the eclipse. Of course that

Looks like they reinvented the wheel.

This is all great news.  Too bad the double-din stereo will be gone most likely.  In my perfect world those things would be mandated.

The infiniti motor is really a Nissan, of course, and isn’t it available in the Altima now?

They are not even trying.  I feel they could make it even bigger!

Driving barefoot. It’s one of those things you hear as a kid and never really question. Then you get older and think to yourself, “man that must be total bullshit” and sure enough it is. Would be interesting to find out where that one came from.
