I never said anything towards the contrary in regards to either of those points.

No doubt, I just get this feeling it was never originally going to go beyond 2 seasons, murder solved or not.

I honestly don't believe leaving the mystery unsolved is as sustainable as people think. The ratings were already dropping a bit and shot back up for the reveal. People blame it for too much.

Agreed. Definitely not as funny but there are still huge laughs to be had in each episode. Plus it's only 8 episodes long and is an all together pleasant watch imo.

I don't think David Lynch is trolling anyone, maybe we just need to stop viewing it with expectations that demand a "satisfying" ending in a traditional way? Since that has never really been David's MO, modus operandi.

All the good pop was released earlier in the year tbh.

Fuck, I totally forgot this channel was a thing, or that destroying stuff with lab or workshop equipment was a fad in general.

This is what Twin Peaks is actually about. Mr. C's ultimate plan is to spoil Game of Thrones for everyone, the collective anguish of which will provide the ultimate feast of garmonbozia.

It doesn't matter if people find out, it would change literally nothing. That's the objective truth of the situation. If you're a pirate, you were already going to pirate it. If you pay for HBO, you've already paid.

lol k

I don't, that's why I said "I'm not exactly sure". And they spelt it out as "milk toast" before editing it, so one might assume they've never looked up a definition before.

I'll admit to not paying much attention to the score of a film unless it's fairly obvious, but I didn't find the shepherd tone very noticeable at all. If any part of the score contributed to the tension for me it was the stop watch.

I have not seen it but from what I've heard, the first season is like a pretty dry and not very good adaptation of a novel, but then the second and third take things off the fucking rails into so bad it's almost good territory.

Totally agree about missing the silliness. And not even just in a Bond film, like within action films in general. I feel like the gritty reboot trend made tonal consistency take precedent, so we don't really get too much humor in an action movie unless it's specifically billed as an action comedy.

It's spelled milquetoast and I'm not exactly sure if it means what you think it means.

I saw that coming the moment the p4k write up for Creature Comfort flat out compared them to U2. I winced.

It kinda bothers me that the cure was the simplest possible answer imaginable. Like at no point did anyone think to just amputate the infected limb? Seriously?

Honestly, it bothers me it took them 6 seasons to get to this point though. Book Sam is way more competent early on. He's not well liked, but they establish his usefulness early on. Even the whole bit in the show where he only has one job and fucks it up, he never does that in the book. He DOES the job.

Can't wait until they reveal the whole show is just Hot Pie Keyser Soze-ing some guards at Kings Landing.

Last time they camped it up we got the glorious "bad pussy' line. The show just isn't what it used to be. More camp would be great at this point.
