What exactly was on the table? I could maybe see it reacting like that if it was like a little decorative oil lamp type thing.
I really liked this episode. The different character combinations are always great. I loved how Kala grabbed the drugs, put them away and started helping Will without drawing too much attention to it by venting about her own problems at the same time. Great acting from both of them and scenes like that really…
I'm particular about bugs. It's gotta be spiders or centipedes. Other stuff doesn't bother me as much, but something about the way both of those move just, ugh, I can't deal. I even have trouble dealing with spiders in video games sometimes.
Omg, I hate how every science article about a new species of spider or something ALWAYS begins with a massive close up of the spiders face. It freaks me out every time.
OMG, that's the thing, I feel like I'm the weird one when it comes to that scene. Everyone seems to find it hilarious.
I've never seen another movie where people just react to the violence in what feels like such a realistic way. Realistic reactions to things like violence or gore tend to hit me so much more than the violence itself.
I can't stand seeing others vomit, so the vomit scene in Team America is actually the only thing that has ever made me feel physically ill while watching a film. I know it's meant to be a joke and they're puppets but the vomit and sounds are just too realistic. I can't deal with it. I've seen the movie a few times too…
Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe's character had a baby but it crawled out of a window while they were having sex and died, so a bit later they head to a cabin in the woods and a lot of fucked up shit goes down. It's a horror movie, there's a plot. The gory stuff only happens at the very end.
Oooh, I am definitely going to be making that salad ASAP. It's like a bunch of my favourite things all in one!
It bothers me so much how often we can't watch something from the country that's literally right beside us and almost culturally identical in a myriad of ways.
Canada is weird when it comes to illegal downloading. They literally don't do anything to stop it, and if anything they've often worked against places like the RIAA when they've tried to charge people.
I really wanted to watch this legally. Except for some reason my Prime Student account trial doesn't enable me to watch videos AND there's no Prime video app for the device I use (PS4) despite that app already existing in the US.
The fennel hate makes me sad. I love fennel D: You want a nice background layer for soups or stews? Fennel's got your back. Roast it with some red onions and any sort of meat and it's going to taste amazing. Let the fennel and onions get a bit caramelized, oh boy, it's fucking heaven.
If you're making some kind of tomato-y stew, like a bouillabaisse, I think it's almost essential. It adds this extra layer to the dish that I personally can't do without.
Omg, I would be so happy if disguises became a running gag of sorts for him.
Weirdo electronic pop label PC Music is having a "Month of Mayhem" by releasing new tracks and videos every day this month. Not everything is a hit, but it's interesting.
There's totally something going on with YouTube recommending Japanese music from the 70s/80s lately. I was recommended that Haruomi Hosono tape as well, along with a bunch of more traditional pop music too: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
Something about Detective Mun showing up in a full on gardening outfit was hilarious to me. I think he mentioned going so far as to get an actual job at the cemetery? That's some serious detective work. I'm glad he's a recurring character.
