And "Get Out of my House" is inspired by The Shining. She's got a few darker songs.

I'm pretty sure Kate Bush's legacy will surpass this film's, so I doubt there's any danger of that association really sticking.

My iZombie watching partner and I noticed that too. We had even forgotten about Liv's earlier vision and got all excited when Clive pieced the murder together, but then he said something to Liv about how her vision was the key and we were crushed. Give yourself some credit, Clive!

I could be missing some details, but I think Ravi needs tainted utopium in order to make the cure. Their last supply was in the drug dealer's bodies they dug up last season.

I'm not personally interested in his work (I don't think it's bad at all though) but I could see him working really well with this. It definitely makes me a bit more interested in this remake now.

I like the over-all idea of the plot and think some really cool stuff could be done with it, but it's basically impossible to separate Suspiria from its visuals to the point where a remake that looks different might as well just call itself something else. Just take the ballet school/witch coven idea and make an

Oh yeah, they are notoriously not very good. Even fans of them will admit that you're basically sitting through a lot of boring scenes for the good stuff.

I was surprised by how little time they spent at pride too, especially with the show's love of musical montages. But it makes sense given what the review mentions about it being very last minute.

That's kind of what I was figuring, but if they need to make an eye to eye connection it doesn't really make sense. Like what are the chances these random Scottish guy fishing and a monk are both watching a livestream of a DJ set in Amsterdam? I assume they'll explain it a bit more in the next episode though.

I get the vibe that if you like System Shock style games you'll probably love it as it seems to be a great entry into that subgenre, but that subgenre has also never been very popular, so Prey definitely doesn't have the same wide appeal as 2017s other big releases.

He also gets to kill people with a bow and arrow and ride away from explosions on horseback.

Obviously everyone is different but I think finding it harder to read multiple books at once is way more common. Reading affects your head space a lot, like I just really get into the zone with one book at a time. Switching to another book isn't impossible, it's just jarring. I think for a lot of people it's the same.

I hope this, the popularity of someone like Glenn from The Walking Dead, and Donnie Yen and Jiang Wen being the most charismatic actors in Rogue One help turn things around.

Eh, I think the time you spend reading a book is a lot different than watching a movie or TV show. It's a deep focus kind of thing, where one novel takes much more of your time and attention than a single episode of a TV show does. Not to mention that watching TV tends to be more passive. It makes sense to me that

That's what the humans are for!

Monsters from another dimension are, by definition, supernatural. >_>

Oh, that's true, you raise a good point. I'm definitely guilty of viewing this through a book reader's POV and not considering how it would look to someone who hasn't. I can't fault anyone for not reading things the same way only 2 episodes into the show's run.

> Plus Mr Ibis is probably writing the story that Anasi told him and that old trickster spider god is known to outrageous tales.

Ah, my bad then if I misinterpreted you.

Fuck, that's such a perfect way to describe it. I'm stealing that.
