Distanced from the original post, I can see how I was being pretentious. No need for you to be a judgemental dick about it though.

I love Triangle, more people need to see it. It's like the anti-Primer. Just as complicated and emotional without holding your hand but it embraces the genre and is actually enjoyable to watch.
We turn certain single player games into multiplayer games at my house. Like X-Com is perfect for it due to its turn based nature. We make decisions as a team and call it "The War Council"
That's fair but even if that was their intention, I don't think they pulled it off very well. Noise and chaos can still be be engaging but I mostly just zone out during the minigun scene. It probably exists to help add another action scene for pacing and to illustrate Mama's general disregard for human life, but I…
How about when Alice Cooper told her husband "I think you know what I'm capable of." Is she back in the running as Jason's potential killer or kidnapper?
Tbf Dredd was actually in production before The Raid, they both were largely inspired by the same John Carpenter pictures, but Dredd definitely leans more in his direction with the characters and aesthetics.
Undercover Dredd would be hilarious to imagine. He still wears the helmet all the time and everyone just chooses to ignore it.
I always felt it was good enough because of our attachment to Iko Uwais's character. But I'm also a sucker for undercover stories.
He makes a lot of good points, but I don't agree with the idea that a lesser budget would hurt the film. Dredd's strength was its economy, and I think that could be repeated on a lower budget. Like the minigun attack scene is the worst part of the film because it's the one scene where it descends into a noisy,…
I'll let it slide, it's a Friday afternoon.
They're the reason our cheese is so god damn expensive. :(
I was gonna say, let's not pretend like most of our population doesn't live in those areas.
tbf that's only because ice cream is made in a certain way that takes advantage of the freezing process.
Frozen cheese is the worst. My roommates and parents do it and I just don't get it at all. It gets all crumbly after, ew.
I don't even have anything good to add, I just fucking love this album so much. It's hit after hit after hit for nearly an hour and a half. The experimental tracks never stop being catchy or unique and the more traditional ones are perfect examples of their form. There are no weak tracks!
Ballad of Dorothy Parker practically invented neo-soul, this album was so ahead of its time.
The first Mass Effect games weren't even that long either. They had their fair share of side quests but each one only took me about 30 hours.
There's a scene where the camera zooms down a man's throat to reveal the chestburster inside of him before it busts through him and another dude's skull, then Ron Perlman and Winona Ryder light the three of them up.
I think it's really solid and maintain the opinion that if it weren't under the Alien brand, people would look at it a lot more fondly as a simple, fun b-movie. The direction is great and the cast is fun, plus there are lots of amusing little moments. Like the bullet ricocheting, the guy using his chestburster as a…
In the school he fights Benny the Jet, a professional kickboxer who also appeared in a few Jackie Chan films. GPB has good credentials.
