Good interview! Mitski rocks, I've been stoked for Puberty 2 since I discovered her music a few months ago. It's so raw, direct and catchy.

The thing about stuff like Inside Out or Toy Story is that those characters exist within our real world but we never see them, so it doesn't stretch belief too much.

Why's that? I haven't played the new Hitman yet, don't know much about it other than it's episodic or something like that.

Everything about the clubs in those games seems cheesy on purpose though.

What I think ME2 doesn't get praised enough for is how much more urban a lot of its environments are. There are at least 3 cities in that game in comparison to the first games 1. So many of your missions are just gathering party members and helping them out in those locations too. It has a very noir-ish vibe at times,

Dark Souls 1 for Dark Souls reset day today! Although likely not for long before I jump back into Dark Souls 3 and start testing some new builds.

Yeah, I don't mind it so much if there are designated points on the map like that, just so long as some degree of traveling is encouraged or required.

I'm pretty good at playing old games with antiquated controls, but top down GTAs I just cannot do, unfortunately :(

Yeah, I tend to cave when I have to do tedious things like hand in a quest, but I try my hardest to go by foot or carriage on the way there.

The best part about the walk is that Serena counts as a quest companion, so you can hire someone else and grab a dog for a full 4 person party adventure.

Not sure if Arya is gonna be up to some stabbing considering all those holes in her stomach.

I know it's a couple years off because FO4 was so recent, but a new TES game would be awesome.

That first one will never happen :(

I saw a meme image the other day about the various fast travel or vehicle options in games, and it had some stupid caption like "Literally no one walks anywhere in games"

I want a HP MMO where your character ages as you level. Base it after the older HP games, where the classes you take end up being Zelda-esque dungeons except modified for MMO parties, those could be your instances. Every ten levels you go up a grade or something, and then once you graduate you could join the wizarding

The Dead or Alive movie is low pro the best video game movie imo.

There's an article on this very site that defends them pretty well, even going so far as to argue for auteur status for Paul W.S. Anderson. It's a good read if you haven't already.

It's definitely annoying when they use it in situations like this where it's based on a hoax, but outside of that, a lot of horror plays off of verisimilitude, it's just a staple element of the genre. Look at the epistolary Gothic novels from the 1800s, those are essentially the classic version of "based on a true

Yeah, it's the only thing I didn't agree with in the article. The first Star Wars film, due to its pretty fast paced editing, feels like a fairly pure action film to me. The sequels are where the biggger, dramatic space opera feel comes from. The first movie is just Luke Skywalker. Once he hooks up with Han Solo and

The flavor text for the planets was the best, I totally forgot about that.
