It's largely due to nostalgia, but they still haven't topped GSC for me because of that. Even the way they handled the day/night system, and the ability to refight trainers, all those details made it feel so much more complete than the other games, although X/Y was pretty great in that way.

That always annoyed me so I started trying to keep a mostly even level. It's better but always more time consuming since the wild Pokemon so often seem to be a much lower level.

I had a Sandslash like that too. I loved him for that reason though >_>

Awesome, thanks again for the recs! I just finished Kill la Kill last night too, so I'm about to start something new in a bit, pretty stoked!

That's a good way to put it. I've noticed the Wild Hunt's incompetence as well. It's kind of odd in a way, like the narrative consistently makes it seem like you need to chase Ciri, but the gameplay never makes you feel like you do, unlike something such as the Oblivion gates. I'm ready to leave for Skellige in my

Yeah, that's an acceptable route. I mean, stuntmen and what not are incredibly common and of course I've enjoyed numerous films where the actors aren't doing the action, but we all know that it's always better when the actors are legit.

Space Dandy and BBB both sound pretty great then, thanks for the recs! I also haven't seen Trigun but I hear it's pretty classic, that worth a watch too?

I don't find Oblivion to be that bad actually. As long as you don't go to Kvatch, the gates will never open randomly, and so the only thing reminding you about the quest is the amulet in your inventory. In Skyrim you can just never talk to the Jarl so that dragons won't appear, but then you can never become the Thane

It seems like making a casting call for actors with martial arts experience isn't too hard to do, but thinking about it, I guess it's probably smarter to get someone with a bit of name recognition for a big budget series. I also think that Scott Adkins could totally nail the emotions of a super hero story while also

You know what would have been better? Hiring an actual martial artist. Is it that hard to find someone who can both act and knows martial arts? It's not like superhero stuff is particularly demanding.

The animals are more popular because Ubisoft is too stupid to realize how the emergent stuff worked in Far Cry 2, so they use animal attacks as a lazy way to increase the game's unpredictability.

"In The Elder Scrolls game, there's always this small sense of, wait, why am I helping you? I've got other shit to do."

"And remind your mom we'll be by later to fuck the shit out of her."

Aw man, this has to happen on a day that I have to do work.

Gurren Lagann is actually what started this little anime kick for me! I loved it so much and then a friend rec'd Kill la Kill because of it, which I think I like even more at this point.

I have warned someone before, I am terrible, but they were still shocked so the experience was preserved.

Hehe, my friend is really into that and he convinced me to get the collection too. Don't worry, it really is that hard.

"I can't eat the regular portion of fries though, too big."

I haven't played anything in a while outside of the occasional Rocket League game with the housemates. We finally got ranked, Prospect 1! God, we're terrible.

I was so so so close to completing a pull up last week, perhaps this week I'll manage. I have managed to increase the weight on most of my other exercises though and that feels pretty good!
