I remember there being a big hullaballoo over the third not having a 99% because of only one or two reviews. I think Armond White was involved.

I love at around 3:55, when the music kicks back in and matches the shot of the sign. The driving is just that important to Ronin. As is the dialogue, its so quotable.

Ronin sure as hell better be the pick for 1998. Its only competition is maybe Blade and that's only because it's more popular, not better.

Work is pretty fantastic and has been on repeat since Wednesday, I need to finally jump in and give the rest of this a listen.

I always remember him saying that "It's whatever you want it to mean" crap about Braid, which annoyed me because that game was clearly about something specific, so why not just fucking own it? We don't need permission to ignore authorial intent.

This sounds like Dark Souls: Puzzle Edition. But in a really great way. Not my kinda game though, I prefer them to be less abstract, but I'd give it a shot.

Killer singles, meh albums. Haven't heard the new one yet though.

True, but 50 had yet to perfect his art. At one point he produced and recorded a 4 part animated webseries making fun of Rick Ross. He really takes it to the next level.

That was good, but Kanye still can't reach 50 Cent levels of internet beef mastery.

That's always been my argument. Somehow being egotistical is worse than being a rapist or a racist or beating your spouse or any number of the more fucked up things that less controversial celebrities do all the time. Which isn't to say that they don't get any hate, but it's not as consistent or wildly

He hasn't written anything in quite some time, so I imagine it is one big elaborate joke :(

I started doing some strength straining at the beginning of January. Technically I was told to start working out by a cardiologist last February but never got around to it. Over Christmas though I spent some time with my younger brother, who's totally ripped, and he helped me make a home workout plan that I could put

I'm slowly getting through Dragon Age 2 and liking it quite a bit. It's pretty perfect for me in how it is, like you said, the black sheep of the series. I love that about it. But I also greatly enjoy how there's no big, end of the world type scenario. You're not a super soldier or the leader of an inquisition, you're

Sup dude?

Finished The Princess Bride. Loved it. The framing device really adds a lot to it, there are extra layers that the film can't quite explore. It got so real by the end too, excellent closing line.

I just started reading Men at Arms yesterday! Great review!

Tyson's voice is a bit too goofy for rap, but other than that it was decent.

Same! Amazing selection, high quality printing and you feel like they truly appreciate what they publish. The Masterworks collection is just incredible, they're always my go-to.

That's true (which I'm okay with), but not always the case. Look at the Mistborn covers:

There's also the civilian character and his wife. So they establish that the cops are killing criminals, and that the innocent characters are hiding away. Not that killing is a defensible action but it's an action movie and that's what we're here for, so its "justified" within the context of the film. And as you said,
