Also when going 3-way you need to make sure your motherboard supports 3 cards at full bandwidth. Most motherboards will cut the second and third PCI-e slot to x8 instead of x16 when using a third card and that can screw you with games that don't support 3-way properly because you'll actually get less performance than…

I bought it because The Witcher 2 with all of its eye candy maxed and what they call "Ubersampling" brought my rig to it's knees in stereoscopic 3D without the third GPU :P

If you look at history, it started with this generation so basically when the Xbox 360 came out and being a Halo 3 player was the "it-thing". Those people kept flaming the PC community for not being able to play it so PC players were vastly outnumbered by sheep and they had to retaliate with cold hard fact. lol

I'm talking factual - more players, more assets, more NPC's, etc. etc. etc.... the rest IS opinion.
