OK, but objectively speaking college costs have far outpaced inflation, so our student loans are much higher in relation to our annual income after college.

We had a speaker at work who specializes in the differences between generations in the workplace, and his definition of Millenials is anyone born between 1983 and 2001. Generations are typically 18 years in length, which makes sense if you consider we culturally consider 18 the year someone becomes an adult.

You can’t not fall into a generational designation. You may be on the threshold of one or the other, but you’re always something, and it primarily depends on how you were raised and what your worldview is.
