The older I get, the more I think German cars are a waste of money. So I can see myself buying this over an S4.

It was actually impressive that he did so much in such a short period of time.
“long ass rice” is the best one.
If you’re a Nice Guy and can’t find a girl, it’s because you’re faking it or you’re a wimp. Be confident and nice. Assholes get the girls because they’re confident; women are drawn to confidence*.
Tree lobsters were only ranked a 4.71? What the actual f***!? Did any of you actually see the picture of one?
“It’s the Olympics,” gymnast Gabby Douglas told the AP. “Mosquitoes? Like, whatever. I’m going. This is my shot. I don’t care about no stupid bugs.”
Fair enough, but how often are you (or the average person, more relevantly) using your truck for things only a truck can do? Besides my point was more that 23 mpgs is still not efficient when there are many choices out there that get 30+.
If I’ve learned one thing making loans in the NJ suburbs of Philly, it’s that an understanding of basic financial management is inversely proportional to one’s love for horses.

You took the opposite point from the one I was trying to make. We’re starting at a minimum 50% advantage with EVs, and there’s nowhere for that percentage to go but up. ICE can never catch up and surpass that advantage.
This argument presumes that tech will never advance far enough to make manufacturing the batteries more efficient. EVs in the most coal heavy electric areas still produce, all-in, about 50% less emissions than the average ICE car, and ICE cars have been in production for over 100 years.

Lol my wife is almost the exact same size, and I always chuckled when I saw her driving her ‘08 Taurus, before it was totaled. Meanwhile, at 6' 1", I sometimes face the opposite problem.
Varies by car, I think. But the derivation of the trans is hardly relevant if the performance is as good or better in daily driving. Also, is that even true? Did VAG use DCTs in its racing cars prior to its road cars?
If you aren’t awed when you see a bald eagle up close, you’re dead inside.
