That last paragraph is why i bought a b8.5 S4 with a 6-speed. It is the WD-40 of sedans. Not the best at any one thing, but damn it if it isn’t great at pretty much everything.

Get a gigabit ethernet switch and a handful of cables, hardwire anything that has an ethernet port. Who cares if you have 100 foot cables snaked through your living space if you need to be functional. Those devices will work better and offload from the wifi signal other devices have to use.

Your modem is.... unlikely to be the bottleneck.

There’s one in every crowd.  Probably has an old docsis 2.0 modem with a single upload channel and none of the congestion avoidance of the newer docsis 3.x specs.  And he probably has a 25Mb/s connection.  And he probably  lacks the ability to see exactly what he’s missing out on.

I live in Fort Collins and I am quite sad about the sale. New Belgium has some of the best sour beer. I hope they keep the local events like Tour De Fat and local live music, but I am not too optimistic.

For me, the biggest advancement in the technology of the current generation of consoles is the ability to suspend the system and the game you’re currently playing. Not having to wait for a game to load when you sit down to play makes short play sessions much more enjoyable.
