While not as ancient the game that continues to remain fun is Burnout 3. It was all about fun and not all about being realistic. That makes is really hold up well over time. Many of these others are just attempts at simulators which will always show their age poorly.

U.S. Manga Corps was CPM’s distribution arm. I always end up remembering them as U.S. Manga Corps instead of CPM because of that MD Geist logo of theirs. And if I recall correctly, CPM did not do Appleseed. I could be wrong about that.

Now playing

I’m talking about this. If that doesn’t appeal to you then we really have nothing to say to each other.

I would expect to see the creme de la creme of the chess world in a show with everything but Yul Brenner.

That’s not a great investment.

I get the feeling that the driver here is 'celebrating' to:

The grand cherokee doesn't need a lift kit, but it would be cool if they sold an electronic interlock that forces the air suspension to no drop out of "off road 1" so you can fit bigger tires. As for the Cherokee, its a little sad. The Renegade can be lifted pretty easily. Also, the Grand Cherokee isn't a Fiat

The demise of Top Gear is really hitting our household hard. My weekly Monday night tradition with my 5 year old son is watching Top Gear. It is one of the primary reasons he is so into cars. We will really miss watching the program each week and it is especially hard since there was no warning.

I was just about to make a comment of how this is totally channeling old school anime from the mid late 80s to 90s, I scrolled down and saw this and you are 100% right, it's very visually similar to 0083, it has that same kinda grim look.. Which is in no way bad, but actually very awesome.

Sounds like Jeremy went full Rick Grimes.

It's like she got even more hotter as the show progressed. She's amazing and was recently on Top Gear.

I agree, every year these insanely cool concepts are created, Jeep receives a massive positive response, and then says "eh, just kidding, we'd never do anything like that, but we are releasing a new half-baked car-based CUV that hopefully you'll run out and buy!"

A bunch of really awesome photos does not necessarily make for awesome video. Got in about 30 seconds before the jumpiness triggered a seizure.

When I was a member of the old Usenet group rec.arts.anime.misc back in the 90s one of the members, Gilles Poitras, wrote a book called The Anime Companion. It did a pretty good job at explaining some of the various concepts and subjects you could find in anime at the time.
