i love that song, but pretty sure that's just keyboard + bass guitar in A Better Son/Daughter
is your gripe with that scene the fact that it's a retread of that other scene, when Obi-Wan's ghost says "Something something the force" and Luke's like "Oh yeah, fuck, that's right, the force!" and drops the targeting computer, as though he totally forgot that he's magical now?
because it kinda is, i agree.
…but they did mention it! there was an entire flashback / dream sequence about it!

ugh
this looked exhausting ~even before~ knowing who was involved
I'd love going back to like 2006, when Patton Oswalt was doing his 'it feels like we're living in this wacky parallel universe where Schwarzenegger rules California and torture is legal' joke, and BLOW HIS MIND
I love Tom Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, and I'm thrilled that they've made insane amounts of money writting movies. I also have seen maybe one or two of said movies and have no intention of watching the rest, and would love it if they were able to write and get produced more personal (read: "better") stuff.
"i'm 12 and i'm perfectly aware of what this is"
this makes a tiny bit more sense when you assume that the 'we' in the title actually refers to 'the AVClub', and the article is a lenghtly justification for more Beebs coverage.
I seem to remember you guys used to have JOBS, HOPE and CASH back then, right?
Welllll, good news is we still have BACON.
But I think he's in like some sort of serial killer tv show that it's supposed to be not so great(?), I dunno, never watched it, looks boring. Also, we now know that it gives you cancer, so keep that…
hei mara, are you aware that guille's theme goes with everything. it doesn't seem like it would go with everything, but it actually does go with everything, check it out.
being a Marvel fan [isn't] so much a hobby as a full-time job.
you are describing every single Tumblr page, pretty much
tl;dr: I have OPINIONS about this film (and others)
Regarding all the "but 'IT' is just a metaphor, it's all allegorical"
oh, I get it, this is the Will Ferrel's Lifetime movie of podcasts
great
ugh, max landis, gross
to be fair, Jessica Alba and Captain America were ~kinda~ an interracial brother-sister team already
I keep seeing people saying that Miles Teller is a talented guy, as if that was an established thing that everyone suddenly decided to agree on but, is he really? am I the only one who is still… unconvinced I guess?
I mean, Whiplash was great but he was kind of the weakest link there, and I guess he was decent enough…
