As a manually driven, ICE car enthusiast I think I probably feel now like horse enthusiasts felt in 1910. It’s been a good run, but time to find some new interests. No one should be an enthusiast of dead end hobby with no prospects of exciting new developments and products.

Besides, if you screw up and use your blinker even once the cops will know it is stolen and bust your ass.

I suspect the Blazer was victim of GM’s typical design by committee group-think. It may have started off as an off-roader, but then GM realized that buyers would bitch and moan about the rough ride, noise, and poor fuel mileage. Thus, it morphed into the boring, gizmo packed, minivan-like blob that we have now.

I suspect that all of the mediocre, ho-hum crossovers that Jeep has been churning out have watered down enthusiasm for the brand. As a Wrangler owner I know it has for me.

Exactly, if Chevy really wants to appeal to Corvette buyers it should include Hawaiian shirts with tiny pictures of Corvettes on them, not manual transmissions.

Try actually finding one for sale for that price. I just searched your zip code, 48150, on AutoTrader, and the cheapest one for sale is a Sport model for $41,435, so a little cheaper than in my area. Better check your facts buddy.

Heck, that'll the the base price of the stripper model if it has the Bronco name attached to it. The base Gladiator starts at $43k! Crazy.

Cheap + Crossover = Profit in today’s market. Mitsubishi seems to have taken this to heart as I see no other reason for their relative success recently.

Dat torque doe...

I work on computers too...which is why I’ll be damned if I want one in my car!

Hey now, lumbersexuals need cars too!

I see this as good news, the sooner crossovers completely saturate the market, the sooner the format will die. As much as they claim to, people don’t really care about practicality, ease of entry, etc. They want a vehicle that signals that they conform, are current, and are part of the herd. It is the same thinking

Yeah really, I get so sick of those stupid poors and all of their complaining. Now where did I leave that stack of $100 bills...I have a cigar to light!

I don't know that gauche and gaudy really register for the typical buyers of these type of cars...so why not?

At 1:20 in the video is the RUF driver wearing socks with no shoes?! Is that an old-school racing trick or something?

If you are going to make a bad financial decision at least buy something interesting. Your grandkids won’t be impressed hearing about the time you got a huge, unexpected raise and immediately ran out and bought an entry level luxury crossover. Woof.

To be fair this is still a Gawker site. Screeching, snarking, and calling people racists/fascists is pretty ho-hum stuff honestly.
