As someone helpfully reminded me, you do realize it makes sense for FFXV not to look as good as say, Second Son, right? It was originally built on last-gen hardware, and it's doubtful they remade all the assets for FFXV when they had already been working on Versus XIII for so long.

It does, actually. Hardware performance is a great benchmark. There's a reason you see GPU performance benchmarked and not engine performance.

I disagree. Demond's model was way better looking than Noctis'. It's a matter of opinon to an extent, sure, but FFXV has issues with its visuals. It's jaggy, has an awful frame rate and lacks a bit of detail.

I played a couple of hours of Epsiode Duscae last night, and I have to say I wasn't as thrilled as I expected myself to be. The graphics are only OK, not great. For as bad of a game as The Order: 1886 was, it looked far superior to FFXV.

A thousand times yes. I don't okay games for the challenge. I play for fun, and I have to keep reminding myself to do thus. I just okayed through red alert 2 and Yuri's revenge on easy and it was fantastic. I know I would have enjoyed it less if it were harder.

That's the primary reason I've moved away from twitch FPS games. Throw in a wife and three kids, and my paying time is down to around 4 hours/week. When you are competing with people who play the game 20 hours a day, it just is not a fun experience.

Another thing I learned to do. If you are just wanting to play a game to get through it or for the story, don't be ashamed of playing on easy.
