This is a really amazing false analogy. The reason why the Last Jedi sucked is it failed to function (1) as its own sensible, self-contained story (2) as the second act of a larger trilogy. Empire, on the other hand, beautifully worked as its own movie and as act II in the original trilogy.

That movie sucked, actually! This one’s pretty clear-cut. There were like 3 good minutes in that movie and the other 745 were useless.
