What was that one?

Hail Caesar! really was the first movie besides the Star Wars that I've seen in a theater since Dec. 18th. Sad.

No lack of self-awareness there. Not at all.

4chan: The Movie

I might wait for video just so I can rewind scenes and pause or whatnot. Such beautiful sets, as usual. I've stood on a few of them, as most of this film was shot on location in LA.

Channing Tatum was clearly Gene Kelly.

The scene in her apartment where they're making the phone call is off the charts awesome.

The soundtrack is pretty interesting. There are a few tracks from a gospel choir/R&B group on it that, when played consecutively, bring the fucking house down. Check it out.

I say that line to myself far more than I'd care to. It's massive.

Just saw it, and I'm itching to see it again. It didn't hit me as hard as I wanted in the theater, but I can't stop thinking about it now. So much I want to watch again.

McDormand's scene made me do a real live spit-take. You know the part I mean.

Definitely lesser Coens, but I still really enjoyed it. I can't get the 'No Dames' number out of my head. Probably one of my favorite Coens sequences ever. The end of it is fucking hilarious.

I heard your mom got fired off of her project.

No, actually it's just a fucking guitar.

What project?

If you read her wiki page, though, there are similarities. Married to a politician, has some facial scarring, etc. There's even an entry on how she is specifically referenced on 'Agent Carter'.

I'm not as versed with the comics as some of you are. Who is Whitney Frost there?

There's a quick cameo of Human Torch in Captain America: The First Avenger.

Perlmutter's too busy writing million dollar checks to Donald Fucking Trump to give too much of a shit about doing his job.

Oh, I did too. I forgot about him, actually.
