I’m finally done building a new RPG character, so I’m hoping to spend some extra hours getting back into my games. I’ll probably just pick up where I left off with Warriors Orochi 4, but will also play some online co-op game tonight (not sure what yet). I also have Labor Day off, so I’m hoping to get extra stuff and

This weekend I’ll have to forego some of my videogame time for a tabletop game. My gaming group is starting a new Pathfinder game with 20th level characters, plus a few additional things like Mythic and gestalt. So there’s already a lot of work for setting up the character, plus I’m trying out a few things that are

Wow, that Uno DX intro hit most/all of the 90s anime character tropes. If not for the Uno card at the end, that could have passed for forgotten anime series.

I’d say MxO was intended to be canon back in 2005.

I like the core concept of the series, but ultimately the first game’s design resulted in repetitive grinding to increase abilities and gear to be able to survive in the areas beyond the starting castle area. I was barely able to survive in the forest area after many hours and generations of grinding, even though that

Probably continuing Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate.  I switched back to the story mode, but haven’t put much time in this week. I’ll probably also play more Fall Guys tonight if the server is working, otherwise I might continue playing Farcry5 co-op.

Well heck, he’s been at Rockstar for 19 years. I wouldn’t be surprised if he just felt like a change (though I am curious what the exact reasons were for leaving).

I think I agree with you that the GTA3 appearance is probably the best, and also he was mostly the straight man (though also very sarcastic). In some ways his character was more of a straight up ass in GTA:VC, which is a preview of his character in all later games. Without going back and listening to them all again

I had the opposite issue, in that RDR2 has so much context-specific controls that I still get lost trying to do what I need to. “I’d like to punch this guy. Whoops, looks like I’m stabbing him today.”

I had a few a these games and enjoyed most of them. Dynasty Warriors 2, Armored Core 2, and Time Splitters were definitely highlights. I enjoyed Eternal Ring, Evergrace, and Summoner for the quirky oddball games that they were. I also enjoyed SF EX3 as an interesting fighting game experiment (plus the introduction of

the PlayStation 2 offered up 22 titles to the perplexed U.S. consumer, any one of which was almost guaranteed to disappoint someone looking to justify their $299 purchase

It’s a good thing Fall Guys isn’t couch co-op.  Things like that are a recipe for murder.

Yeah, I did that too. I can remember just boosting and flying erratically to avoid the randomly spawning enemies. I forget if the enemies got too powerful to beat, or if it was just taking too much time to continue fighting them. Ultimately I think it took me 50-60 minutes to reach the edge of the game space. I might

My impression is that this is essentially Enter The Matrix for the F&F series, which isn’t entirely bad.

I think tonight I’ll be jumping on the bandwagon and trying out Fall Guys (assuming I’m able to download it).  I’ll also continue with Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate.  The infinite mode has been mindless fun so far, though I haven’t seen any of the new characters, so I might need to go back to the story mode to unlock

This reminds me of the first Rage, in which invisible walls block basically all deadly cliff drops early in the game, training you not to fear accidental falls. Then, of course, there’s a point on a ledge with a zipline that would make sense to have an invisible wall to indicate when/where you can try to interact with

That was first thing I noticed, and after reading the article my main takeaway is that this guy isn’t in any position to call other people uncool.

It looks to me like the 3 ‘face’ files are from a dev messing around with image filters on digital photos. The normal color Beavis picture looks like a low-res photograph of a toy’s head (you can see a shadow behind it, plus light from a flash reflecting off his forehead). That image might not have been run through a

This weekend I’ll probably play Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate since I recently upgraded from the base game. It was good timing too, because I was actually 2-3 missions away from completing the game. Now I’m having fun with the Infinite mode, though I’ll have to jump back over to the story mode again to see what weirdness

That last guy, seeing his friends just rekt,“hmmm, on second thought...”
