I’ve been trying to get into other games, but I keep falling back to Warriors Orochi 4. I’m not sure how close I am to the end, but I’m pretty far along. I keep hearing rumors of an Ultimate version (or maybe peoples’ really easy assumptions based Koei’s track record), but I’ve been enjoying it enough that I’ll

To some extent they could resolve this problem by changing the animations so the suit is clearly using jets against gravity for a controlled decent. However, that would probably be a lot of work.

I wondered to myself, why was I much more scared here than at any other part of the game?

I can’t specifically recall an unkillable monster showing up to kill the player, and admittedly I haven’t played it in a decade, but that wouldn’t be surprising. The events I remember best were the ones that occurred immediately after entering rooms, such as the character changing size or just exploding into gibs,

Ah, okay. I missed that. Thanks for pointing it out.

The designs have certain similarities, so potentially it’s the same character, albeit an alternate dimension version.

I like the discussions of randomizers, partly because of the many different interesting ways they can work, but mainly because they showcase the complexity of games’ design and implementation.

Right now it’s a tossup between RDR2 and Spider-Man, though I’ve also been playing Portal Knights online with a friend. Then again, I might not have access to our main TV, so I might continue Resident Evil Revelations on the Switch.

I’m just guessing here, but the speakers at Nintendo Direct tend to be those with seniority, and if the increase in female employees is a relatively recent development then the vast majority of employees with seniority would still be male (and will probably stay that way for decades until the currently senior employees

While I think Miyamoto is generally trustworthy, I would still like to see statistics for representation throughout the industry.

“Never Trust A “Dead” Zombie

I essentially wrapped up State Of Decay 2 last weekend, so now I’m finally moving on to RDR2. I already finished the intro missions and made it to the gang’s first real camp. I also recently bought a few games on sale, so now I have to decide if I’ll be focusing only on RDR or trying to play others simultaneously.

I’ve read that Darksiders 3 took some cues from the Dark Souls series, though I’m not sure how close of a copy it is. After beating Dark Souls you’re probably in a good headspace to take on a DS-lite game design.

I occasionally feel that, though it usually is caused by a game I ended up disliking. You may want to reconsider which game types you enjoy, or if certain games require too much of your time. For instance, I got bored with Far Cry 5 around 15-20 hours in, and so rushed the story missions. However, the ending was a

That reminds me of a 280Z I had back in high school. In winter the transmission was basically the car’s heater.

I think pretty much every inexplicable aspect of the SW movies can be chalked up to Lucas’ shitty writing, and saying that he always intended for Vader to be Luke and Leia’s father is giving Lucas too much credit. From everything I’ve read the vader=father idea is a post hoc rationalization, and Lucas himself has been

On a similar note, just imagine how different episodes 5 and 6 would have to be with Vader not being their father.

I seem to recall that samurai were likely to be as skilled with other weapons as with the sword. The sword was definitely a symbol of one’s political/societal position, but a samurai’s preferred weapon in battle could be just about anything. That’s probably where the archery aspect comes in, as it allowed the

That’s what I’ve read.  It was also an accident, as the pressure for the blood hose was either faulty or accidentally set too high. However, it was also iconic, and essentially started that fad.

I feel like The Boondocks episode did a better job of “discussing” the issue at the time, though it did have a full episode to cover it instead of one sketch.
