My vague recollection is that the Japanese arcade version also had its own different endings, including “raisin” people that showed up in multiple games from the same company.

the first three Lands Before Time...

I haven’t played single player in years but aren’t there 2 different stock markets? One that is entirely for story events, and one that is dependent on online usage?

The only exception to the “harms no one” I can think of is games that have leaderboards for singleplayer aspects, though that is rare and relatively minor. For instance, there were a few different arcade games on Xbox360 that had leaderboards for players’ high scores on levels, and somehow users were logging

“I don’t even know anymore.”

Ah, you’re right. I read the long comment by Berfince right after and must have remembered his info as part of the article.

I feel like these complaints are the kinds that people need to mature out of. I can remember having similar complaints years ago. I’d buy a game first week, not play it immediately (due to work, other games, whatever), then feel a bit ripped off when its price dropped before I played it. Then I realized a few things

It’s so useful. And so many different Tetris games have that option that I had honestly forgotten the NES version didn’t have that option until the article mentioned it.

You should checkout the comment by Berfince. It lays out how hyper-tapping is a huge advantage at high levels. It’s certainly not a win button, especially because it is a very difficult technique, but it definitely gave Saelee an advantage after level 18.

I suspect the reason why players of Classic Tetris are so different from fighting game players is because the game isn’t directly competitive like fighting games where you are attacking each other (or other Tetris games/modes that drop blocks on your opponent when completing lines). As such, the game/competition is

As I recall, the “saxophone guy” gif is from one of the weirder scenes in The Lost Boys.

Dang it, now I’m having Bomberman Zero flashbacks.

I agree. While I’ve enjoyed some of the things he’s done, they could have easily come from many other people. It’s very clear to me that he’s not talented enough to have gotten where he is on talent alone.

I was afraid he might just do a rehash of his Hunter The Hungry character, but that was definitely a great Kanye impression.

Oddly enough, I’m playing through the story content of Destiny with my friend, then we’ll probably jump into the DLC content.  When not playing that I’ll probably continue on with Agents Of Mayhem, which has been great fun so far.

Simpsons has been shit for several years now

Oh yeah, definitely. I own ~30 DC games myself. It’s not like we’re talking about the SegaCD or 3DO.

For me both Power Stone games are easily top 20 for the system.

Based on my experience with the first Soul Fighter I don’t think the Dreamcast is to blame for the series not going anywhere.

This is funny and weird, but there has to be something else going on.  Also, having had both relatively recently, I’m 99% positive they taste nothing alike. And even if they did taste similar they share literally no visible similarities. Different crust, different toppings and topping placement, different sauce.
