I’ve found both IRL and online the Sansa haters are mostly men. Even when I’m at cons, a dude will always inevitably side-eye my Sansa tattoo. I like Sansa, and always have. She resonates with me because I’ve lived through trauma, and when you’re a kid, and you’re trying to be good, sometimes it’s never enough. D & D

Juliet Hulme turned her murderous thoughts/impulses to writing mystery novels.

I really hope they go the rehabilitation route, rather than the punishment route. At 15, there is a very good chance that 3 years Of hospitalization and therapy could turn her into a productive member of society. 10 years in (I’m assuming) an adult prison and you’re pretty much guaranteed a psychopath at the end.

He does walk the walk—he creates good, equal jobs for beautiful, white, thin, young women.

Him not getting on that horse too was some Jack and Rose shit for real though

Right? Like, does she hear herself or is she really so delusional that she thinks she’s an exception to the rule?

she... didn’t... mention... their kids?

It’s entirely possible to be completely in favor of the ideals of feminism, and to push those ideals forward while still being a shitheel to the women, and others, in your life.

But yet you cared enough to write a long post about how you don’t care...? Which followed near-immediately a post about how alien you think it is when “unhinged” people “play out their drama in public” (aka “talk about a thing that happened to them”).

I think the point is being missed here. She’s not saying he’s a douche for cheating on her, I think she’s implying he used his influence and power to surround himself with young women to prey on while in public portraying himself as a feminist.

This, Arya basically turned into every jackass on the internet that blames Sansa for everything bad that happens and ignores the fact that she was a terrified child being manipulated by several adults in positions of power.

Not everyone is magical.

How about you back off from his ex-wife whom he cheated on for fifteen years? Then, attempted to justify himself the usual line of “I faced so much temptation, anyone would’ve done it.” This man gaslit her, and used her as a cover for his cheating. She says as much. I’m inclined to take her word for it. As a director,

Honestly, my post wasn’t about Whedon at all. I don’t think you can’t both self-identify as a feminist and be a crappy person. However, I do think there’s a tendency within some sections to let men (/other more powerful group) get away with shit that women would never hear the end of - even when there’s no signs of

“Beautiful, needy, aggressive young women”. So his favourite kind then. And dude, you wrote the show and decided what kind of people would be in it, you’re the one who surrounded yourself with the beautiful, needy, aggressive young women. They didn’t just, like, turn up.

Aside from the underage girls things - those women reported being traumatized, by the way - Gandhi was abusive, extremely racist and anti-black, praised Hitler, let his wife (whom he described as ‘dumb’ and a ‘meek cow’ while she was alive) die of a treatable disease... among many other things.

I’ve been chuckling over this all afternoon. I’m so spitefully happy to have been proven right.
