I mean, sure. But I think that a relapse is going to drum up shame, regardless of what you are doing to support your recovery. Guilt and shame are such a huge part of the disease.

I’m in AA and “throwing away your sobriety” after a relapse is not a sentiment I’ve heard in the rooms. I’m not claiming that AA is without issues but that is not a universal part of AA.
