The thing I like most about the game is exactly what you dislike about it. I love exploring and finding secrets without the game ever explicitly telling me they’re there, and I’m fine with endings being hidden behind it. When I beat the game the first time, I knew there had to be more to it, because there were entire

Nah, they’re not private.  Other people are welcome to join in; I just don’t concern myself with trying to attract as many followers as possible or following everybody who posts anything remotely interesting.  It’s as much a platform for discussion as, say, the article threads here at Kotaku.  Heck, I’d say it’s

I have a group of friends who use it to discuss things they like and share things they find interesting.  It works fine if you’re not trying to use it to “build an identity” and interact with thousands of people whom you don’t even know.

I appreciate the level of effort they went to, but what really bugs me is that H’aanit uses the “-en” suffix for both imperative and infinitive forms of verbs. In the infinitive form it’s fine and has some historical basis, but in in the imperative form it sounds weird because that’s not how anybody has ever talked.

The first thing that comes to mind for me is Drakengard 3. The entire game is a third person, character action game that is occasionally tough but mostly pretty reasonable, and then the last boss suddenly turns into an incredibly hard rhythm game.

What’s REALLY great, though, is when you’re playing a game that has overworld/battle music transitions, and you get to the big serious dungeon with awesome music and it just keeps playing through the battles instead of transitioning to the normal battle music.

You might also want to take a look at Coup, another deception game that’s actually set in the same game universe as The Resistance.

This, except also where I live it would also be 110 in my house when I get home, and I don’t want to bake for 30 minutes to an hour while the AC stresses itself to get things down to a reasonable temperature.  So the AC is programmed to keep things at 80 when I’m away from home and 75 when I am home.

Do what I did and go play through the Utawarerumono series and then The House in Fata Morgana; after you’ve been emotionally devastated multiple times in a row, it’ll feel like a nice breather to play a game where you just go beat up some monsters and occasionally help out some NPCs.

Even though I’ve only ever watched a few episodes of Doraemon, this house is totally sweet.  I feel bad for anybody who can’t appreciate having a whole house themed after something you love.  Enjoy your beige walls, popcorn ceilings, and off-white ikea desks, normies.

Even if this is just a collection of vignettes, I feel like I’m going to enjoy it quite a bit. I loved SaGa Frontier.

That’s kinda weird since the only thing you need the d-pad for in XC2 is switching blades, and that’s not something that needs to be done rapidly (or even frequently at all, depending on your setup).

“Better sounding” is purely subjective; I think the original names sound better. That aside, the GnR references don’t fit in at all with any of the other maverick names in the entire series. They’re completely unfaithful to the spirit of the original names, and I hate it when translators insert irrelevant pop culture

Hi, I care. I actually think X5 is one of the best games in the series and am glad they’re ditching the GnR references.

Hey, so let me tell you about the Utawarerumono series, which has a number of queer characters who get perfectly happy endings (certainly happier than some of the straight characters). Just look at these beautiful wives.

And yet this leech now has more actual, real gameplay than the “existing” IP does.

No? This is neither shit nor boring.  An impressive amount of skill and time went into making this.  Even at a glance, I can tell this guy’s painting and weathering skills are top-notch.

Small, detailed pieces might be 3D printed, but most of it is sculpted from EVA foam.
