said it before, will say it again. the repeating worlds thing took less than an hour a piece, you had the ship, you were leveled up so the guardians were a cakewalk after one or 2 go rounds., there was no reason to “play through 90% of the game” yes it was awkward, but its overblown.

Tyrone Rodriguez screwed up Pixel, the author of Cave Story too back in the days

Devs gotta think about Steam like this - it has the biggest number of users, so it also has the biggest diversity in terms of tastes, public for niches and whatnot.

It certainly seems like they’ve found their niche making retro-feeling JRPG’s that are disappointing for the same reasons a lot of old JRPG’s were.

I worked as a driver for Pizza Hut when I was in high school. My first day I wasn’t able to train with a driver (he was hungover and missed work) so they had me prep the pan pizzas instead. This consisted of squirting 3 huge pumps of oil into a pan and then dropping a small frozen disc of dough into that pan. Over the

Having to play with other people is exactly the reason why I stopped playing MMOs. I enjoy the story and like building a character but I really don’t want to interact with other people.

Bloodstained ignores the modern conventions of these games, as well as their conveniences, like swift, speedy movement and the ability to strike in directions other than right in front of you. Their absence makes Bloodstained feel like Symphony of the Night, but also reminds you that Symphony of the Night is 24 years

This, 100%. I’m a backer, and while the cycle was long, it was one of the best managed Kickstarter projects that I’ve backed. The updates were fantastic, and the final product ended up being even better than I imagined.

I bought and played through this on Steam and can’t recommend it all full price. My full review below.

The Easter bombings in Sri Lanka today that killed over 200 people and wounded over 400 that targeted Easter services.

…except that Inti Creates has nothing to do with Ritual of the Night. They only were working on the (excellent) faux-retro prequel Curse of the Moon.

Counterpoint:

When something gets popular, there is always money to be made (advertising, etc.) Whenever there is money to be made, there are always going to be professionals there. Same thing with the popularity of electronic music. It used to be more underground. Popularization also comes with a certain degree of normalization

despite that people work hard to earn money for the dyes and bodysuit materials, making the design/artwork in computers, etc

It’s just this event and this blog (which only seems to want to highlight thin, light-skinned women most of the time).

Cosplay at its best is inclusive. This really seems to go against that. You might get prettier photos for news articles, but it seems so... elitist.

What excuse will you use for the people that already bought it without being notified before that the PS4 version is censored? You censorship culture supporters are so idiotic.

“Censorship isnt a slippery slope”
“They’re only censoring perverted anime games”
“It’s not censorship unless its by the government”
Anyone wanna add some more excuses to the censorship apologist pile?
