> The Switch Pro controller is also really nice, though I’m unsure why they removed the analog triggers.

I tried it for a little bit and it didn’t work as well for me as Moonlight, and Moonlight works perfectly well, so... *shrug*

You are correct, I should’ve said something like “engaged couples” rather than “newlyweds”.

Lifehack for young newlyweds: don’t spend $20k on a fancy wedding ceremony and rings, just walk down to the courthouse and get a justice of the peace to marry you for $15 and spend that $20k on the down payment for a house.

Is that one’s gameplay cycle something other than, “Advance slowly and carefully through an area until something catches you by surprise and you die, then repeat, occasionally losing hours of progress because something caught you by surprise twice in a row”? Because that’s what turned me off of all the others.

I tried again with random answers and got Frostpunk, so I guess not?

I got Dark Souls Remastered in the quiz, but honestly, I’ve tried Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, and Bloodborne, and I quit all of them after a few hours. I think that particular subgenre just isn’t for me.

Seconded: Star Ocean 2 was great, Star Ocean 1 was good. Every other SO game has been a pile of mediocrity.

> Posting in stuff in public is asking for criticism

Sure, you have the right to complain, but if somebody didn’t ask for your criticism and you start complaining at them anyway, that’s what makes you an asshole.

I watched the first season and thought it was ok. It didn’t really hook me enough to make me want to watch more. I’ve heard many people say the second season is a lot better, and maybe that’s true, so I might check it out sometime, but I don’t feel any strong desire to do so immediately.

Kind of Breath of the Wild, I suppose. I did complete all of the divine beasts and beat Ganon, but I had only done about half of the shrines and collected about 50 korok seeds, and there are large areas of the map I haven’t explored and a ton of side quests I haven’t done... but I just wasn’t enjoying that part of the

Are you familiar with the term “Whataboutism”? Because that’s what you’re doing right now. Did you know that it’s possible to care about more than one issue at a time? Teen suicide being an issue does not diminish the issue of school shootings at all.

Ok, hold on, I’m gonna give you a hot take:

Individual publishers already get details about their own sales stats.

> “the definitive indie game”

Sorry, I guess next time you should try to actually be funny.

That’s not “tsunami imagery,” that’s a wave that is obviously inspired by Hokusai’s “The Great Wave off Kanegawa,” which is one of the most famous paintings of all time and practically iconic of the entire ukiyo-e genre.

> Why don’t educational institutions learn from these things and make education itself more engaging

*Everybody* who drives a car needs this. As soon as I’ve got a car that can drive at least as safely as I can, that’s >1 hour of free time I gain every day to read, browse the internet, or play video games. Commuting to work is absolutely the worst thing I have to do on a regular basis.
