No argument.

Cases where the outcome doesn’t follow theory are ones where the basic precepts of the theory are not in play. People ignore the prerequisites of economic theory and argue dumb stuff, like supply-and-demand in health care where the demand is almost perfectly inelastic.

Because that isn’t how Capitalism works, that is how Socialism works.

I believe however, an unskilled worker shouldn’t be making 95% of what I make...

If neither of those can be done then you don’t have a viable business model for the modern era.

One of the frustrating things about economics is that some things that make intuitive sense don’t actually happen, and vice versa.

As a business owner, if I have to pay a McDonalds worker $15/ hour, those costs need to be borne somewhere. Its either through automation (ordering kiosks to eliminate headcount) or increased product price.

Yep. In a debate, Mondale said he was going to raise taxes, and so was his opponent (Reagan). Reagan denied that. Soon after the election, Reagan raised taxes.

Right in the butt.

I remember those days.

Trump can’t not take his salary. That would be illegal - a violation of the Anti-Deficiency Act. Add it to the pile of things Donald doesn’t know about his job.

I’m Mr. Teamwork so your analysis is a bit off. There are some in upper management who go through life with a stick up their ass, though. I have no time for them. We all have to get off this ride when it ends, so I’m going to enjoy it while I can. Work is a tertiary concern of mine, at best.

In other words, “we were lying when we asked you to be honest. Please lie back to us.”

Of course, there is a tool that can fix 100% of your gadgets.

Heh.

Interviews are fun when they don’t matter much.

Since I have a metric fuckton of candles...
