While I’m bummed to learn that none of the SMB Special power-ups or enemies made it in, the inclusion of the Super Ball flower is a nice touch!

A PS VR game each month would be an awesome way to replace the sorely missing PS3 and Vita titles. Or you know, just bring those back. I’m fine with either (or both)!
I’m not saying I wouldn’t eat a tomato-chicken sandwich but I am saying I don’t understand the draw. My mind instantly goes to Italian-style cuisine, and this sandwich comes across as some kind of unfinished chicken parmesan or caprese salad type of pitch.
It’s definitely worth it. To me, it’s the best thing on the (rather-timid) international menu. Just be prepared to get caramel all over yourself if you’re eating it in the car. :p
Have you ever eaten a breakfast / brunch burger? It tastes like that. The gouda cheese and the McBacon sauce replicate the creaminess of the egg yolk running all over the meat as you bite into it.
Also, if you’ve never tried a burger with a fried egg, you’re missing out. Add crispy hash browns to the sandwich for good…
I missed the party so I’m just going to start my own. Here are my (stupid) E3 predictions (that I really, sincerely hope are true):
What about action RPG’s inspired by the 16-bit era?
EvilQuest comes to mind. It was originally released as an Xbox Live Indie Game and it’s novel in that you play as the villain. Your ultimate goal is to rule the world.
Vanilla Q2 used sprites for the energy ball as well. The lasers came into play whenever the projectile flew close enough to an opponent to zap them. The sprite was also surrounded by particle effects so that’s probably why you remember it as a blob.
I don’t disagree. The lighting in Q2 was all hand-placed so it helped set the mood. The new global lighting is impressive but it’s far too uniform in each scene, and it looks especially jarring next to the light given off by static fixtures such as ceiling lights. About the only thing I felt was a definite…
“Hi, name’s Dour Sidebar. Did you know anal fistulas are incredibly painful?”
But seriously, I love those names and this article!
I don’t understand why people dislike instrumental stuff either, especially if they grew up listening to classic rock. Iron Butterfly’s “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” is over 17 minutes long and features mostly instrumentation including a drum solo that’s nearly 5 minutes long. Like, do people just listen to the first 2…
I know your pain. I can’t listen to most of my mix CD’s in the car unless the wife is asleep. And even then, I have to play them on low. Sometimes I can sell her on stuff that has vocals but anything with long or repetitive instrumental sections is out. Teenage me also made the mistake of putting Ghost in the Shell’s…
Clauses (IV) and (ii) are decent. The rest is way too vague or way too broad.
Wouldn’t it be easier to just prohibit games from advertising, facilitating, or enabling in-game purchases?
Here are some low-key games that come to mind:
Endless Ocean for the Wii. You spend most of the game exploring and discovering new forms of ocean life. Nothing will attack you and running low on oxygen just means you have to surface and go back down.
I guess I’m weird but I just scratch mine open. Trying to pop them is just uncomfortable. (Although I completely understand the appeal.)
Since Mrs. Parker-Davis, and by extension you, have now ruined “underwhelming” for me, I will say that I found this video perfectly whelming.

But seriously, great stuff!
If anesthesia worked the same on everyone, we would have no need for anesthesiologists.
For me personally, IV anesthesia is incredibly uncomfortable. There is no way to describe it other than feeling like fire in my veins. I feel it from the moment it enters my bloodstream all the way to when it hits my heart and…
I also question Ronda Rousey’s inclusion. Part of me wonders if it has something to do with how Rousey’s likeness was used in MK10 without her permission. I recall reading about how Rousey raised that point herself but I never heard about any legal repercussions for Netherrealm. It may not, they could just be fans,…
Luke, when you say “every” platform, do you actually mean every platform? I bought the game on WiiWare, and I’d be kind of amazed if there was an update available. :p
