Ray's dad is either the guy who investigated the diamond murders or Frank's wife.

I kind of saw Paul's dialogue during the getaway as a guy who was only a detective because of departmental politics desperately trying to deserve the title. It would have worked way better with an actor who was better at levity.

I posted on Tumblr about what a great moment that was and got an anonymous, poorly-spelled message calling me a "man-hating sadist monster" for endorsing the stabbing of a guy trying to rape you. I guess that clears up what Bill Cosby's been doing with his time.

The show seems to have a vague idea that Vaughn is at his best on this show when they let him be funny, but it's dawning very, very slowly.
