Maybe learning about different beliefs will help? You can make it fun - visit any temples/mosques/whatever in your area, watch videos on YouTube, make food together that's associated with particular traditions/festivals - the sooner she learns that people have different beliefs anyway the better!

Forgive this if it's something you're already doing, but I find memrise.com really helpful for learning and retaining new vocabulary.

Eh - it was a beautifully drawn horse and it didn't make it creepy to me. It just looked sort of fantastical.
