yeah, but the thrill of both things you mentioned also comes from the physical movement of the activity. You will not feel the jostling of the roller coaster, or the stomach in your throat feeling you would get from skydiving. VR breaks if there is no external stimuli that your brain expects.

I just feel that it’s mainly the art style that is turning people off. Metroid has always been a more serious game, and now it’s like this chibi art style (is chibi the right word?). Also the last metroid game like it or hate it wasn’t the best received, so I think peoples expectations are just really low.

the way I look at it, you spend the same amount if not more on a movie, and often get less. Movie = $9 ticket, + popcorn, + soda, and that is only 90 minutes!

you don’t have to. If you did full pacifist all the way through, it reloads you right before the final boss room and you can finish up a few things

I think a lot of it comes down to the whole “Input lag makes people throw up” thing. While you or I would barely notice a minor frame dip on our monitors, in VR they make you want to throw up almost immediately, therefore the specs need to be very high.

I think there is a mod to make anything a follower, so if there are chickens in fallout 4, you should be able to have one
