Just switched from an XBox 360 controller to a DS4 for PC gaming, and I have to say it’s the most comfortable controller I’ve ever used. The new features sound kind of cool, but the shape is different, so I hope it’s not less comfortable.

I don’t think I’ve ever played a game that just... made me happy. That is, until I played this game. It’s manages to find the balance between no combat / conflict, yet still dodges the trappings of a “walking simulator,” enough to make it really engaging and fun to run around the island. I really love this game and…
Probably Undertale. I can’t think of any other game has been so amazing the first time through, but lost so much of it’s charm the second time through. Still a great game, but I don’t think I’ve ever been as blown away by a game as I was the first time through.
1920x1080, maybe a little 1440p thrown in there if I’m feeling inspired
In most Legend Of Zelda games, the alphabet to enter you name goes A-Z, and then below that has a-z. By habit, I always go to the last letter, and then the first, third, etc. which resulted in me spelling it zACH. I now do this in every game that allows me to enter case sensitive names.
It appears that the first link to “Chesses,” is broken and just links to “Really Bad Chess.” I also can’t seem to find it on the web.
I’m I the only one surprised at the lack of “spin,” on this story? Usually stories like this go something along the lines of “Alarmingly, a person was unknowingly diagnosed with the illegal drug LSD from an old piece of equipment.”
How have they NOT used Bullet With Butterfly Wings for one of their trailers yet?
It’s hard to remember for me, but it was either one of the Reader Rabbit games, 3rd grade adventures, Harry Potter 1 or 2, or Power Rangers time force for PC.
An interesting solution might be making the “license,” a tangible thing. IE: Right click on a game, and click “Download License File,” which downloads some kind of standard binary file to your computer which can then be uploaded to another store.
Scariest moment was when I was playing the original Dead Space back in middle school. It was the first horror game I every played, and I was playing in the middle of the afternoon in the summertime with headphones on, creeping through dark hallways with almost 0 health then....
Flywrench. One of the Mercury levels. Just thinking about those god damn spinning wheels of death is giving me flashbacks
Drinking “Squeeze,” / “Sterno,” was actually a thing at some point wasn’t it? You would squeeze the jellied alcohol based lantern oil through a sock to get the liquid and people drank it during either the great depression or prohibition (probably both).
This is more or less an official project at this point. Valve gave them their blessing years ago and they are allowed to sell it on steam. You can actually buy the whole game sans xen right now.
Funny, I think the opposite. I played through the orange box first when I was in middle school around 2010, and then went back and played the original and LOVED the intro. Knowing the events that are about to be set in motion makes it really tense and exciting like the calm before the storm.
1. She more or less gets hired for contract work by the federation like in Metroid II where they hire her to exterminate the metroids. I think it’s alluded to more than once that she has worked for other parties in the past, but we don’t play a lot of those. Perhaps she answered distress calls like Ceres, and the…
Actually, the game can show you. If you stretch an 8k texture over a 20ft wall and stick your face in it, you can still see pixels. It just depends on how close you get to the texture
Actually, the texture in this map is probably one from GTA. It would be a lot easier to just assign a native texture to it
Only game I have ever put on hold was Flywrench. Blew threw it till about 2 levels before the last system and haven’t been able to pick it up since (mainly because trying to re-learn is the same difficulty level of performing brain surgery with a construction brick!)
Yeah, I remember being on a baseball team in like kindergarten or first grade. I don’t really remember if it was my idea or not to be on the team in the first place, but at the time I knew absolutely zero about the rules of baseball other than “One guy throws, one guy hits, and some people try to catch it.”
They just…
