Depends what your game is. Even when your making a game like dark souls there are realistic things like brick and dirt.

Nintendo has c&d'd many projects including the likes of project prime, and many games that aren't even remakes, but other fangames that say, combine zelda and Mario or something.

I think they need attention so that when they do release it, people download it immediately, before they get the c&d (if lucky).
