I have Nexen on my Tundra. Bought it used in Kansas and the dealer put the tires on.

Right, but if he’s looking at the 1500, you can get it in previous years, you don’t have to upgrade to the 2500/3500

If you find an older Ram with the 6 speed you can still get that. Unfortunately that means getting at least a 2 year old truck. I drove a ‘16 with a 6 speed and man I love that shifter. So smooth.

When I bought my truck I had built a table of different loan rates/terms and final sale price and brought it in in a notebook so I would know exactly what I was looking at and the perfect combination of payment/term/rate. I ended up getting somewhat close, but didn’t get the rate I wanted thanks to the age of the car

There’s so many loan calculator apps and websites that there’s just no excuse to not know how the Interest works. When we bought our Jetta, we went over total numbers and I used the calculator on my phone to come up with what the payment should have been based on what they were giving for our trade, neg equity, and

On a long enough timeline

Oof. Sounds like a typical GM Gauge Cluster to me. Surprised the fuel gauge was working at all based on some clusters i’ve seen.

I bought a Tundra that left me stranded a month after buying it. Turns out the fuel sending unit was reading way high, so when it said half a tank, it was actually at a 1/4 tank, so by running it to 1/4 tank (like I normally do) I was actually running it nearly dry. I’ve always been careful to refill at 1/4 tank since

We have roundabouts outside our office at an interchange for an interstate. It seems like everyday I see someone who stops in the roundabout to let a car in. We have the yield. You have nothing. Keep. Fucking. Moving. You’re not being polite, you’re being a danger.

Yep. The farm kids at my High school had the shittiest trucks, but were the best drivers, and the kids that lived in town always had nice cars that were beat to shit.

Our instructor used us as his personal Uber too. It didn’t happen to us, but I know groups that would drive to the bigger cities (Topeka and Kansas City) so that he could go to Guitar Center, or run an errand or something. Honestly i’m OK with it since they got more highway time than a lot of other students.

In Kansas when I was getting my license, I got my learners permit at 14 (written test) but had to take driver’s ed to get my restricted (traditionally at 15) that allows you to drive to work/school and back, etc. Then at 16 it automatically turned into a full license without doing anything. My driver’s ed was a joke.

Rented an AWD Dodge Charger (actually had rented an “economy” but this all they had) and drove it to Indianapolis. Then proceeded to rally it around dirt roads in Parke County, IN while touring covered bridges. At one point got a rock stuck in the brakes so it squealed for a few miles until it fell apart. Wasn’t super

I worked at a casino for a summer and I had to drive a number of these things. Never understood why they existed. The interior was the exact same as the Impala and drove the exact same. I guess they figured old folks would be blinded by the Buick badge. Guess they were right.

I guess those sort of mechanical things really entice me, I mean, I’ve seen every episode of Jame’s May the Reassembler and that’s painfully boring to almost everyone, yet I loved it.

Yea but a 10 Minute RCR video still feels like 5 minutes because it’s so good. It’s not full of bullshit to fill extra time.

So say you’re looking at a truck with a $32k MSRP. The invoice price (the price the dealer paid) is $30k. So already, they are making like $2k on that truck if you pay sticker. The manufacturer is having a $3k rebate sale. So now that truck is on sale for $29k. The manufacturer is giving the dealer that $3k. So at

Everybody know sticker price is sucker price!
