Budget at MCI (Kansas City) You can rent muscle cars with manual trans. I rented a Scat Pack Challenger for a day (auto unfortunately) but they had a huge selection of muscle cars at very affordable rates. They also have unique options instead of your typical rental fare. Lots of 4x4 vehicles including 4Runners,

Ford offered these test drive gift cards at one point, and a friend and I found the only dealer in the area that had cars we both wanted to drive. Me a Focus RS with manual, him a Taurus SHO. We went to the dealer and we got a salesman who loved doing it. He had so much fun and encouraged us to hoon both the cars in

Lexus GX460. Still kinda heavy but major off road chops

AFAIK it’s all electric. Makes flushing/bleeding the rears easy since it just pumps it through with the ignition on (no engine needed), but the fronts are still regular and you can just pump them.  And yea, they’re super pricey to replace.

The GX has an electric booster, not vacuum assisted.

When I was in high school (2005-2009) I loved buying cheap old electronics off eBay and I found a Visor at one point and bought it. Then of course i started buying cheap modules and my favorite was a GPS module. I plugged it in and the only mapping software it supported was way out of date, and I couldn’t get it

V8 is the biggest reason. 4Runner isn’t offered in a V8 trim. Plus the GX has full time 4x4 whereas the 4Runner only has part time unless you upgrade to the Limited trim, which is approaching GX money.

I’ve ridden both Durango and Cumbres and I enjoyed Cumbres way more. Durango is cool don’t get me wrong, but Cumbres was just out of this world.

And yet they STILL haven’t updated the interior. It still shares the same dash components from the 2007 Tundra!

My 1995 4Runner had this. Not only that but the bottom part folded like a tail gate (like the Land Cruiser). God damn that was cool and I loved that car. Meanwhile, my GX470 which shares the same platform as the 4Runner has a stupid swing out tailgate (like the Land Cruiser Prado) that makes it a bitch to haul

Is Atlis part of VAG?

Yes. Much better than methheads on ATVs riding down the interstate

My 09 GX470 has a couple things that were new to me that I didn’t even know about until I started poking around forums/owners manual.

So I wanted to follow up with my original comment regarding the AWD system. We got to test it this morning in Kansas City. Roads were very icy and snowpacked. Put it in AWD Lock and had zero issues on any of the slick surfaces. Multiple hills that RWD/FWD cars were stuck on, we had no problem, even after losing all

Our 2017 Rogue has that button. I keep the dashboard information screen on the “i-4x4" screen and when I take off from a dead stop it’ll split power 50/50 briefly, then go to 100% FWD. When you punch it for passing or just accelerating it’ll throw some power at the rear. In AWD Lock it just locks it 50/50. My GX470 is

I drove our Jetta across it and the creaking noises and the flexing made my wife hella nervous. She wasn’t too fond of that.

Yea this happened to me with a pickup truck I found on Autotrader. Didn’t bother calling ahead (derp) and showed up to look at it and of course it had been “sold” when I got there. I just got in my car and left. It was a fairly desirable truck (mid 2000's Silverado 4 door) so i’m sure they kept it on their website to

It’s also weird because they don’t have a huge lot. Compared to some of the other dealers that have really big lots, they still seem kinda small. I mean, they only have about 160 new cars on their website. Compare that to say, Gladstone Dodge in KC (I only use them because I live close by) who has nearly 600 new cars

IIRC Speedway also had another deal back in October where you leased one Ram and you got a second one for free or something like that. I don’t remember the exact details I just know it was shady as F
