Yea I had a rental 2016 Charger that the lights came on if the wipers were on. And it kicked into AWD as well.

Do you have to be actively using the navigation system on your way to work for this to work? Or will it do it in the background and alert you to an alternate route? I don’t know of anyone who uses the navigation system on their daily commute.....

I have the 4100NEX. I don’t have 30 second boot times, but it is way slower than my previous Pioneer Head unit. About 2 seconds at the splash screen, then a few seconds of black, then to the “don’t drive distracted disclaimer” hit OK, then it takes a few seconds to actually load menus. So i’d say 10 seconds from car

I actually followed the exact same route you did from OKC to Durango Colorado 2 years ago. I was in a Toyota Tacoma though... We stopped in Red River, NM instead of Taos, but aside from that it’s the same. Did you eat at Rabbit Ear Cafe in Clayton? That was some amazing eats for a tiny town.

Not a movie, but i’ve noticed in the HGTV show “Flip or Flop” that there are tons of continuity issues when driving around. They showed an outside shot of an Escalade driving down the street, but when it showed them inside the car, it was in a Range Rover. On one episode the Escalade got “stolen” while at a site and

I’m not really sure how it works, but given he knew my coverage was up to date, either it downloads fresh into the computers everyday, or he was using a mobile connection. It definitely took long enough they could have called Farmers, we were sitting in the car waiting for a good 5-10 minutes.

I got pulled over and didn’t have an updated Insurance slip, it was about 2 months old, my policy was definitely current though. Cop ran it and said “Your policy is current, but your card is outdated. Make sure to get a new one.” and let go on my way (headlight was out). This was a Highway Patrol officer out in BFE

Yea not in our case. We moved Datacenters and bought a whole crap ton of new cables. We weren’t going to waste our time terminating them when we had 300+ servers to get hooked up fairly quickly.

The camera gesture is super easy to turn off in the Moto settings, I don’t understand why it gets it’s own mention as a “no like” when it’s amazingly easy to turn off.

Why would you make an article about photos into a video? The old format was way better.

Similar thing happened to me. I found an 04 Silverado Extended Cab with low miles for a pretty good price. Was on their site and Autotrader. Didn’t call them first (dumb move) and drove 45 minutes, got on the lot and I asked to look at that particular truck and they asked “Oh the white one? We sold that about 4 weeks

Similar thing happened to me. I was looking for a Chevy Pickup, and I found one at a dealership about 45 minutes away on Autotrader (and on their site). It was what I was looking for, appeared to be in good shape, etc. My mistake though was not calling first, however thinking back, I now realize I probably would have

I see a ton of Canyon's on the road, but fewer Colorados.

The only new car i've ever bought was last September and it was a 2014 VW Passat 2.5S. Pretty much bare bones and we paid $18k for it but it was exactly what we wanted and has been an absolutely fantastic car for us and helped get us back on our feet after a previous car purchase left us underwater.

I'm running a weather station off a Pi. It's a Davis Vantage Pro 2 that cost about $1100. It uses the wview software which IMO is the best for the job. It uploads an xml feed with current obs every minute as well as keeps a database of obs, creates graphs and images, etc. I used to run it using the Davis software on a

You totally should. With the new Pro subscription you get lightning data as well as longer loop times for only $9.99 a year which is a steal for this kind of data.

Radarscope for iOS and Android. $9.99 but it's the best weather radar app hands down

Ditto. I just bought a new car (2014 Passat) from a local VW Dealer and i'm keeping the frame on until I get my permanent OK plates and I have my own frame supporting our local NBA team. I've noticed in my area that the nicer dealers (aka least annoying commercials/shitty deals to get you in the door) don't put

I bought a couple 54Gs when a local Telecom business was going out of business for dirt cheap, I ended up sending one to my Grandpa to use in his house, and I used a 54GL as my primary access point until I finally upgraded to an Asus N-Router. I'm using one now as a guest access point at my apartment. My Asus wasn't
