We had a carrier provided router, it was a WRT54G-TM. Which was nice since it had more memory and more CPU than the standard 54G so DD-WRT ran fantastic on it. I'm not 100% sure that there was really anything different in the standard firmware or if it was just slightly more powerful to handle the traffic. My parents

Yea I had the Blackberry and my brother and mom had Samsung slider phones and they didn't work worth a crap, but my Blackberry was super reliable. EDGE data was the shit back then and I couldn't believe the speeds I was getting. Now with 4G on my phone i'm pretty sure i'd throw the Blackberry through a wall..

My Blackberry Curve 8320 had Wifi Calling through UMA on T-Mobile back a couple years ago and it worked great. Even on crappy wifi networks I had no problems calling/texting.

Remember when Gizmodo was a tech blog? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

As a fellow Oklahoman I feel your pain. I swear there is some sort of secret rule that the slowest drivers have to hog the left lane of I-35. I hate passing on the right but I have to do it nearly everytime I go from Norman up to the city.....

Yep I did the same thing in my friend's car. I drove an auto for 4 years, then had been driving a manual exclusively for the past 2 years and we were at a gas station in his Auto Escape and I did the same thing. It all came back to me pretty quick after driving for a few miles. Same thing happens in my Fiance's

I had a similar issue with my MBP. I have the Mid 2009 2.66GHZ Unibody 15". It came with a 320GB HD and I eventually updated to a 750GB Western Digital Black. Well I started to notice the same symptoms you're talking about. Random freezes, and it would always happen the worse possible times. So I did some looking and

Are you really secretly an American?

When I originally saw them post this (I follow them on FB) I thought "Oh boy a case for Jalopnik!" then I looked and was like "Maybe not, this is too easy, Chevy Malibu 100% sure" so i'm kind of surprised they didn't listen to any of the FB comments and didn't pass them onto the PD and now it's on here..
