@clevemire: The Buick Ezcelle is based on the Delta II architecture developed by Opel in Germany. Its basically an Astra.

I think its time for Jalopnik to do a retrospective on the best of tilt-shift photography or combine tilt-shift photography with ekranoplans or Pirelli tilt-shift calendar or a combination of all three.

@p3rider08: But everyone in the world gets shitty Chryslers! So be thankful for that.

Done.

I always kinda liked it. Especially the rear light cluster. But it was a little too much for late 90s America. This car ruined Ford's sense of adventure for the next decade plus. They played it safe with almost every (US) car that follow this up until the current Taurus. 1st gen Focus was nice but European, other

@LeftlaneBandito: in the exact same boat ... i've been looking for a clean stick 2+2 for some time and have had no luck.

90s 300zx - nearly impossible to find a nice clean stock car these days. All have been too fast and too furious-ized beyond recognition. Beautiful car when clean. Its pushing 20+ years old and still looks fantastic.

Another soft roader from the vast parking lot that we all forgot, or try to, is the Mitsubishi Expo LRV. This pre-crossover platypus thing came with four wheel drive and shared some good bits with the Galant VR-4.

Matt - Great call on the Rancho - a car way way ahead of its time.

Wes - Did you bang this car?

The used 93 5-door Nissan Sunny I purchased for the year I spent touring Europe in 98. I regretted purchasing it the moment I drove it off the lot. Nothing Sunny about that car, nothing at all. I think it ran off my soul. But I wanted something that wouldn't break and was fuel efficient. Best thing that happened

i implore the Jalop nation to use your flashers - ala the Italians, French, and the rest of continental Europe — to strongly encourage slower traffic to move to the right ... this left lane nonsenses needs to end

@mrwoolery: So have I, nice ones are hard to find. Would make a great LeMons racer.

@Ben Wojdyla: it was a vast improvement from this button fiasco (91 sse bonneville) ... more buttons, more problems

Subaru XT Turbo with digital dash. OK, it's stinky cheese but stinky cheese tastes good.

A topic I love, the Reatta. Actually took out my dad's Reatta for a short drive today. 88 with only 38,000 miles. Its a fantastic example of this GM flop.

i almost bought a similar 88 a few months back, it was an auto with less miles, the price ... only $2500

not only can this guy not drive, he's got a wicked case of man boobs
