I mean, your number on the call sheet is a relatively big deal for actors. If she said number one on the call sheet, I’m 99% sure she means quite literally number 1. And based on the story, probably an actor of sufficiently greater fame than the rest of the cast to cause the cast and crew to feel they need to placate…

Yeah, besides even with his huge ego, I don’t get the feeling that Dwayne perceives his acting ability to be good enough to say ‘You call yourself an actor? This is what I have to work with?’ What is this?’ to another actor...Fassbender and Gyllenhaal on the other hand, I can definitely see that happening.

By all accounts (aside from Vin Diesel) The Rock is very nice. Has a bit of an ego now, manages his image too closely, but is nice. Even wrestlers, who love nothing more than drama and to tear each other down in the dirt sheets, say he’s a nice guy.

Jake’s reportedly a nutter but Fassbender hardly has a great reputation either. I reckon it could be either one.

And if she wants us to guess, she’ll do exactly what she did. Go polish your halo somewhere else.

I’d give the odds to Jake too, with a dark horse candidate for Fassbender. He’s got a domestic abuse allegation in his past. He is a talented actor, but at the time of the Snowman, was stuck in crappy franchises.

He’s been critically acclaimed, but never really had a hit as a lead actor. Maybe the pressure got to him.

There is evidence out there that she and Hugh Grant got along because she talked about them going back and forth playfully. My gut tells me its likely Jake or Ewan. Gyllenhaal seems a way more likely candidate than Johnson. Especially in a movie like Life, with a for-hire studio director like Daniel Espinoza who wouldn’t be looking out for anything except the final product. Of those listed, “Life’s Jake Gyllenhaal” stands out as the best suspect to my eyes.

I love Hugh Grant but he does have a temper apparently. But no way he was ‘ number one on a call sheet’ with Meryl Streep on that movie.
