How is this gif a thing?

Oh god... my 8 month old’s upper-central incisors have just pierced through the gum and it’s been an absolutely ridiculous week. Her bottoms were no problem at all so I wasn’t expecting this. So much boob, so much nipple scraping. Solidarity in celebratory nights!

Seriously... I was definitely thinking it was going to be related to Black Lives Matter pride sit-in, but he’s just crazy on so many levels I don’t even know anymore.

Well, anecdotally there is at least one... that said I drilled and hammered shit into my rented walls all the time. Polyfilla it when you leave.

Same. I was born in the early 80s. All of my friends have secured their furniture to the wall and now that my 7 month old is just starting to crawl, we are doing it as well. I’m always surprised when I hear that people with children don’t do it. I can see the benefit of being able to move items easily, but benefit

Yup. My 7 month old is just starting to crawl and our weekend project is securing all our furniture and putting away my nice vases...

I’m surprised that people don’t remember Ikea furniture lines, tbh. Most of the big ones that people have in their homes have fairly simple to remember names: Malm, Expedit, Lack, Billy... I can see maybe Arkelstorp or something. But the best park of Ikea furniture is the fun name.

Yeah, you need to jump on these things. It’s ridiculous how quickly they fill up in a decent-sized city.

It really depends on the groups you find. I found a local area “moms” group where they verify who you are before you can join and it’s closed so you don’t get creepers. They post a bunch of events per week and you can pick and choose what interests you (walks, coffee shops, park days, etc...). I was hesitant to join,

Meetup has been fantastic for me. As well as just finding random “Mom Events” at places I find interesting. I met a great group through one of the museums in the city. They have a “mom and baby” tour group.

“It’s pronounced Bouquet”

That’s pretty well how I’ve watched the whole series.

That BMW picnic party is a thing of glory. Champagne? Check. Fancy glasses? Check. Box of $4 Carr’s crackers? Check. Pink terry towel? Naturally. I am wagering that they also had a plush pink toilet seat and coloured scented toilet paper in that person’s abode.

Don’t even joke about this. It’s totally true. And maple water, maple water is everywhere now :S

This is so depressing :(... Happy Tuesday everyone!

They usually do. 7-10% of their birth weight is normal loss. Much of it is essentially “water weight”. They come out plump.

Oh that’s hard... I hope she is able to produce as well. I exclusively breastfeed but I am one of the lucky ones who has had an easy go of it. It’s a lot of pressure when it’s not going well and I can only imagine that when you have such high expectations and poor ideas about formula it’s really going to hit hard.

Johnson & Johnson is the ultimate poison.

Oh god yes... It’s like a form of torture. I recently inserted myself into a discussion where someone suggested “chemicals” in soaps were related to autism and I regret getting involved. But c’mon people!
