I really liked the scene with Malcolm McDowell and Skrillex-like Erase Face.
The look of disgust on McDowell's face when he plays one of his electronic songs is hilarious. But then the scene goes in a different direction, and Erase Face's software does something really good with a short piano solo of McDowell's.

The first episode is streaming online. I liked it, but its style is similar to Mr Robot season 2, what's happening isn't 100% clear. I wasn't quite sure if the ex-girlfriend was real, but on a 2nd viewing their meeting at an elevator seems to be really happening.
I thought the security guy would make a decent black

Is his Dad Darth Vader, who is also black?
But lets omit the Stormtroopers have white body armor.

Thought the review was referring to Cage with "newly minted Oscar winner". He won the year before for Leaving Las Vegas.

I know, big surprise. But it might be more common than TV viewers realize. They are actors, paid to pretend.

Go on www.Deadline.com and type Castle in the search box. They mentioned the contract thing in a recent article.

This is actually best for the show. Castle without Beckett doesn't make any sense.
Too bad they didn't like each other in real life. Fillion had it in his contract he would only have to work with her two days a week.

I'll see if they're on Netflix. They have a ton of Asian movies I haven't seen.
But I do like Hong Kong's Johnnie To, he makes good crime movies.

Well, I did see My Way, overall it was a decent movie. The WW2 movie.
Like I said , only a few Korean movies.
The problem with Stoker doesn't haven't have anything to do with English skills.
Oldboy was in Korean. Visually, the technical stuff was fine. I just didn't like the story, which was written by an English born,

The original Oldboy, I didn't have a positive reaction to it. I think most of it was okay, but I didn't like the ending. English language Stoker is made by the same director.
There was this awful 2010 Kate Bosworth movie The Warrior's Way, English language by a Korean director, who hasn't made anything in six years.
But

Haven't really liked the few Korean movies I've seen, or some English speaking movies by Korean directors (Stoker), this looks worth checking out.

"Although a better comparison might be making three Godfather Part IIIs at the same time."
I have no clue why Cameron thinks there's an audience for four more movies about the same planet (unless there's others nearby.)
All of Cameron's big, expensive risks have paid off so far.
This might be a real Titanic, a big,

A lot of people don't like Lena Dunham. Another actress might be able to make the character more likable.

Anyone know the name of the song and the band played in the opening scene on the bus?

Just started watching this show. I guess the big question is are these walled in suburbanites for real or up to something.

Like Melissa Benoist a lot, but I think it will be hard to do this and not look silly.
But the show is probably for young girls, anyway.

I don't think there was anything "weakly liberal" about Elysium.
You have your oppressed mostly non-white masses who need healthcare, and your evil rich white corporation with the magic health machine.
Lots of people, even liberal film critics, noticed the message.
If a movie is good, most of the time the politics don't

Unfortunately, Alien is another story that fits his Lefty corporations are corrupt point-of-view.

First he apologizes to the Vietnamese community, who are very anti-Communist, and then he goes Left and talks about cultural appropriation. Pretty confusing.
The idea a group giving itself the name of a Communist guerrilla army is about "Western appropriation" is silly. By that logic, music group The Decemberists

And I think she had a Hell Baby. (a movie)
