Well, there is a Scuba Police, but it’s called DCS and it tends not to issue much of a warning first.

I thought about saying the same thing, but resisted it. I doubt the conditions are anything by trivial off the coast of South Carolina. High currents, limited vis, cold water, while conducting a search and recovery - all off shore could make for very challenging diving conditions. Deeper may have been better.
Came here to say the same thing about the Prowler. There are certainly things that could be criticized about it (as with any car), but a “horror of a machine”? Ugly? Not a chance.
You should learn to control your emotions, Kevin.
Actually everyone with kids is absolutely free to go anywhere they want with their kids, with some narrow exceptions. We may be at an impasse - but it’s only because you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about, or you seem to think the world operates the way you want it to.
You’re inflicting yourself and your opinions all over this thread. Only anonymously - which makes you a coward if you don’t act like this in the real world.
And turned you, apparently, into a deeply damaged person with limited ability to adjust to uncomfortable situations, and almost no capacity for compassion or empathy. I’d rather raise my child differently.
Yeah, parents also beat their children into submission. Guess you like that too right? Sick fuck.
You’re either not a parent, or you’re a negligent / absent one if you actually believe that.
It’s been a quarter century. I don’t think it’s happening.
What I love is how people like this will, without the slightest acknowledgement of the inherent irony - demand that entitled babies and toddlers not fly because they have some special right to a quiet and relaxing flight.
The only possible answer begins and ends with Lexus if you want to hit the center of the “Reliable - luxurious brand- used and cheap” Venn diagram.
Makes sense. SUVs are the new wagons, and nobody buys coupes (at least based on what I see on the roads). So yea, they probably should get rid of both - as much as coupes and wagons are among my favorite style of car.
I mean, why the distinction between children and adults? I’ve had WAY more bad interactions with entitled adults than I ever have with entitled children. And with children, I can at least sympathize with the fact that their brains are fully formed, they’re new to this world, and they have capacity to learn from…
yeah, but I don’t really give a shit about whether my kid is special to you. And also - you aren’t entitled to peace and quiet everywhere you go. If you want peace and quiet, you’re entirely able to stay home and enjoy it.
I find people also tend to forget that they were all once children, that went places, and probably did things that annoyed nearby adults. The way children learn to function in society is by being a part of society.
Oh, look, the highly predicable “I don’t like kids, so I’m edgy” quote. Top-Grade humor here, people. TOP GRADE.
I’m giving it a NP just because it looks like a really nice, clean, Bug in decent drivable condition. And those are getting pretty rare. A decent amount of subjective nostalgia for these Beetles is also in there, and making my vote highly questionable.
Did they though? Any more than our generation is “effing” the next generation? Or the way they’ll “eff” whoever comes after them? Sure, the Baby Boomers made some things tougher for the generations that followed. They also made some things a lot easier. Simple generalizations rarely hold up to any real scrutiny.
Well not the Star Wars people.
