Awesome. I’ve been told that up until they stopped annual stampings, that Virginia alternated the color scheme every year from my black-on-white to even-years having white-on-black. But I do love my embossed 1965.
I have to keep my annual month/year expiration stickers *in* the car...but thankfully not on the plates.

I’m just happy that Virginia lets me use vintage, stamped in ‘65, plates on my Mustang...they look SO much better than any of the ~1000 other plate options VA has....

See...this highlights an odd existential problem I’ve been having. I recently got assigned to an overseas position...and want to bring my ‘65 Mustang with me. Problem is that my mind is divided between:

I do have LED’s with proper aimed lenses so yeah, that’d be me. They look factory/classic during the day, but at night I can see...very important.

I’m not downtown too often at night...but, there aren’t many like mine in the DMV that I’ve seen...so likely me.  :)
