Problem with most of those, and the same reason that Delta guy says “seats wont’ get any smaller” is something important called: Emergency Egress; etiher under one’s own power, or being drug out.  You have to be able to get in/out of seats in the event of an emergency...and a lot of these innoveative designs don’t…
