I was hoping for so much more from this article. You offer two whole suggestions per gender, that's it? I don't really consider that "range." And the second suggestion for women offers a lot more work-acceptable clothes than the first, so I don't know what your idea of "business casual" is.

Thanks for agreeing with me :) the "not a real fan" thing has kept me from getting into most sports. Because it's not enough to sit down and just watch a game and enjoy it - I have to know the players on the team, how well they're doing this season & last, plus everything about the team we're playing, plus the rest of

I'd rather have one pocket than a fake-out pocket - those are the worst. "Hey look it's a pocket - hey wait, it's sewn shut... and there's no actual pocket..."

Because they'd rather keep doing what they've been doing all along. It's been working for decades, & they think (or are willing to risk) that they should just act as they always have.

I think the problem with Olympics coverage is that they think *everybody* needs these storylines to care. These sports only pop up on our radar once every 4 years, so they think we need a reason to care. As opposed to regular major sports, where you can follow your favorite team for a whole season, year after year,

And you responded, "if you'd get up an help our kids with the homework, I could just sit down and watch the game", right?

They probably use the exact same statistics you scoff at. Who watches games? Who buys tickets to go to games? Who buys merchandise? All three of these stats will tell you who is contributing to their bottom line, & therefore who they should care about. Spend money -> NFL cares about making sure you keep spending

When the game's going really badly, he can throw it at his screen. It's a much more satisfactory experience - for that moment at least...

But here's the problem with your point - should we remove from the 55% of male football watchers anyone who's just "along for the ride?" Let's go count every guy who watches because his roommates/brothers/coworkers are watching, but doesn't care as much as they do. Is he still considered the audience of the game(s)?

You're telling me you carry around wool & cashmere scarves in the summer? I was all with you except for the year-round comment. I have some light-weight scarves for warmer spring & fall weather, but there's really no point when you have a hot summer.

If you're thinking of shipping any alcohol to PA from out of state, you might as well not bother (unless you're willing to risk it & hope you don't get caught). Here's the "exception" to shipping wine/liquor if you don't have a license:

I still don't think it's worth it to get a GPS package in your car. Those things get out of date really quickly, & just don't offer the same functionality as the google maps app. Agree on bluetooth - that's an absolute must for me, along with the controls for volume etc on my wheel.

I disagree - our family goes through cheap luggage very quickly. This advice only works if you never travel. If you actually use your luggage, spend the money on a good dependable brand with a good warranty who'll replace the bag if the handlers mess it up (or if the wheels struggle on cobblestones). If the luggage

It was a joke.

*facepalm* You do realize iPhone owners include women, right? That smartphones aren't only for the menfolk, let alone only for the manly lumberjacks with big hands?

I guess I'm nobody. [sad Charlie Brown walk away]

But how am I supposed to use my phone while driving - take both my hands off the wheel? That doesn't sound safe.

"Why isn't it pink? The lady phone needs to be pink or they won't buy it"

Sure, it sounds simple in theory. Now try that scenario during the holiday season. There are 50 people behind you in line, my manager's busy, and you want 20% off a $10 purchase. "I'm sorry, I can't do that." "Can I speak with your manager?" Now our transaction that should have taken 1 minute takes 15 minutes, &

I'd shop while on wifi & take screenshots before I go to the store - it's worked for me in a couple places, no problem. No data plan required, unless your phone uses 4G to access your photo library.
