Please be aware that a dashcam’s FOV is wider than that of a human’s eye. From a dashcam recording, a blind turn may look as if it was not as blind, and objects’ distances appear farther than it actually is.

I think it will eventually boil down to personal preferences and/or habits, but one thing is certain: the numbers (that indicate wear and tear) will add up along with mileage interval. Here’s my math:
