If the livelihood of the delivery person depends on the tip, then why isn’t the tip part of the price? You know, when you order something from an online store, you pay “shipping and handling”. Why is pizza (or any other food delivery) different?

There should be a special state law that says if you make a delivery guy deliver without tipping him in the middle of a storm, he should legally be able to throw you down the stairs. The higher up you live, the more steps he gets to use.
