The only major counter point to make here is when buying a used vehicle, you're not buying something *you* want, but something someone else disposed of. You want a red car? There is no Red cars that are decent, just that Corolla over there with less than 50K and a year of abuse.

I'll just say that you don't see much of the crap asshats pull in a "1st world country", just because there aren't many dashcams in cars yet :P
