A spec chassis, spec gearbox, spec center section/greenhouse, spec transmission, spec wheelbase, spec rear aero, with some manufacturer involvement allowed on the nose of the car, with tightly controlled V8 engines powering RWD vehicles that don’t really resemble the street car at all ?

BTDT 6 years ago..

I think the Nismo has it beat, 3 cars at Le Mans, they at least made an effort to keep them going all race long. The ARX made about an hour and a half at daytona before it blew up, they dropped it after that, it never made it up pike’s peak, and it’s not homologated for 2016 for the FIA, so I’d say it’s a display

That’s not a bad idea. They already did it with the ‘57 to...”interesting” results.

Unimaginative? They’re doing the same “revolutionary” front engine/Venturi tunnel thing that the GTO/GTU Mustangs were doing in 1985 and the Panoz LMP cars were doing in the late 90s. It’s not new, nor particularly effective.

Which they’ve already said they have no plans to do this season. The Hybrid power was totally scrapped.

Not safe to go out and run the car with all the mothballs that are now in it.

“7 bucks a class is not affordable”?

Okay, I’ll bite, what was so terrible about that? It’s a heavily swollen knee. There’s no gore, no blood, nothing. Looks painful as hell, but really, who’s that soft and squeamish?

10 sessions... Your reading no work good.

Hahaha. Dumbass. Yes, generally if it’s work issued, any company worth its salt with a competent HR and or legal team can take that phone straight up and get any info it wants off it.

Pizza hut grease and pizza hut chilli. You’d turn your plumbing/septic system into a superfund site.

Okay, I’ll bite, what exactly is “bro truck” about a stock, non lifted 4wd Mid size pickup truck?

A fence doesn’t do much good when the car goes over the top of it. The ring uses the same basic catch fence design, as do practically every other race facility out there.

You’re thinking Kotaku, although it would probably need to be another 2 sizes up.

They’re called abs. Put down the 800 calorie breakfast cupcake and 700 calorie starbucks coffee-flavored milkshake.

Who’s “we”?

Ah, so you’re “that” guy.

Bingo. FF3/6 really was the height of the series. 7 was good but not great, and as you said, just dragged on to nothing. Never got into 8, and just stopped caring after that.
